Festival Essentials

I live on the Isle of Wight, which means I'm lucky enough to attend the Isle of Wight Festival every year.

I love the buzzing atmosphere of festivals - the blaring music, overpriced everything and watching people drunk at 11am.

Seeing as the Festival season is soon upon us (YAY), I thought I'd share with you my essentials!

1. iPhone Charger Case - An absolute godsend! This adorable one is from Uncommon Cases (£50)

2. Chewing gum - I could easily live off this stuff! Essential if you don't want smelly breath (no thank you)

3. Dry shampoo - No one wants greasy hair! Festivals aren't exactly hygienic places, so I always take a travel size of this with me.

4. Vaseline - Being out in the sun (hopefully anyway) means your lips can get dry, this will solve that. And also good if you forget to pack a moisturiser!

5. Bobby pins - A girls best friend. I've bought hundreds of these in my lifetime probably. Perfect if you need to get your hair out of your face.

6. Blotting papers - Only oily beasts will understand the pain. I take these wherever I go, even at festivals I don't wanna be oily!

7. Wellies - It's pretty standard to wear wellies at a festival - they're also great at protecting your toes from people stepping on them (ow)

8. Poncho - I had to choose the unicorn one (from ASOS, £5). Great if it starts to rain and you don't want to lose your place in the crowd!

9. Purse - Obviously. You need something to carry cash, and cards if you choose to take them. I always take a smaller purse so it fits easily in my bag.

10. Roll-on deodorant. No one wants to be sweaty! Roll ons are more compact, and I've always preferred them anyway.

11. Perfume - My summer perfume is Guerlain's La Petit Robe Noire - fruity, spicy and just nice.

12. Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel. Absolute essentail. If you take nothing else, take this. I shudder at those festival toilets...

13. Matte powder - Again, hey oiliness. Great on the go for applying if you need a little cover up.

14. Breath spray - Makes your breath smell minty fresh. Everyone loves that!

15. Fringe bag - I love fringe for festivals. It's a little chic and vintage, this one is from ASOS (£20)

16. Disposable camera - Perfect if you don't want to take a flashy camera with you. I also love the effect a disposable camera gives.

17. Hair chalk - Completely optional, but great if you want to brighten up your hair. At festivals, anything goes!

18. Salt spray - I love using this to give my hair that worn in, beachy look. Bumble & Bumble's surf spray is my favourite.

19. Atomiser - Travalo is my favourite atomiser brand - they're perfect for popping in your bag without lugging around a heavy glass perfume bottle.

20. Tissue - And lots of it. Festival toilets are GROSS. These are your best friends.

21. Travel mouthwash - Can you tell I'm conscious of bad breath?

I almost feel guilty having only one photo!
